About Us

Our mission at LCA Performing Arts is to create an environment that nurtures students’ talents and helps them achieve their personal goals. We believe in creating a cooperative and socially amiable atmosphere that promotes artists collaboration and social affability. We encourage students to widen their horizons and try different dancing genres from Hip Hop, Ballet, Break Dancing to Salsa. The possibilities when you enroll in LCA are endless since we specialize not only in singing, acting, dancing but in musical theatre, movies, television and other performing arts as well.

Furthermore, we strive to instill self-discipline, confidence and an affinity towards image building in our students that makes them keen on adopting plausible work ethics. Based in Miami, our academy is eager to produce multi-talented performers whose talents are cultivated under the guidance of our experienced and skilled instructors.

Our teaching staff and programs can not only cater to raw talents, but it can also help skilled performers reach their maximum potential by enrolling in master level classes.

Whatever personal goal you may have in your mind as a performer, LCA can definitely help you achieve it!

Attending the Cirque du Soleil “La Nouba” with my one-year old daughter, Melanie, is one of the fondest memories I have as a mother. I had feared that she might start crying during the show but to my surprise she enjoyed it a lot and clapped enthusiastically throughout it.

After that, we frequently took her to shows not only in Brazil but in other parts of the country as well. When we were done watching Aladdin in Broadway, she declared that she would prefer performing on the stage instead of just watching it from the crowd.

Once we moved to USA, both Melanie and her younger sister, Chloe, took up dancing, acting and voice lessons.

Finding a suitable studio that prioritizes students’ safety was not an easy feat especially when most of them had unqualified instructors that knew little about preventing physical injuries as well as vocal strain. Moreover, most of the studios I had visited were not keen on nurturing new talent instead they wanted skilled individuals that were ready to compete under their name.

Back in 2018, I won dozens of awards for three different films that I finished shooting in just few months.  Melanie bagged few awards during that time as well which was enough to show that we were headed in the right direction.

But it still wasn’t enough for me. I wanted – and I still want- more.

I am not someone who does things in half measures therefore I researched and learned everything there is to know about performing arts. I had one goal in mind that is to guide not only Melanie and Chloe but other young talents as well. I’ve met with enough parents and guardians to know that they are often unprepared and usually understand little about their kids’ talents.

Since they don’t know the extent of their kids’ abilities that’s why they push them to their limits. I have nearly 20 years’ experience of teaching and I can guarantee that coercion never works when it comes to teaching. Parents, teachers and kids need to understand each other, and you can’t achieve that without effective communication.

Lights Camera Action Performing Arts hires and trains instructors that are skilled at mentoring both kids, and parents. Apart from effective communication, we endorse never give up attitude as well that plays key role in an individual’s learning process.
