Musical Theatre Program

Training the Broadway Stars of Tomorrow
OVERVIEW

Experience is the key that adds depth and layers in an artist’s performance and helps them appear mature and confident at the stage. Our Musical Theatre Program does only focus on the basic training of singing, acting and dancing but it also helps individuals find their own talents and path to success. These classes focus on fundamental performing arts skills, emphasizing creative expression and fun.

Training the Broadway Stars of Tomorrow

The purpose of these classes is to strengthen each student’s individual talents and help them master the basics of dancing, singing and acting. Self-improvements and image building are also the essence of this training program therefore the use of imagination and creativity are appreciated during these sessions.

Instructors at LCA strive to make learning fun and an interactive activity though the professional dynamics are not sidelined but rather taught in detail in All Rehearsals and Performance Classes. Not only rehearsal etiquette but discipline and personal accountability is instilled in LCA students to provide the performing arts community with the best artists.

ALL THE CLASSES ARE HYBRID, WHICH MEANS YOUR CHILD CAN TAKE THEM AT THE STUDIO OR FROM HOME AS OUR STUDIOS HAVE SCREENS AND ZOOM INSTALLED FOR THAT. MENTORS THAT WILL TEACH REMOTELY WON’T BE AT THE STUDIO IN PERSON, BUT THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE THE CLASSES FROM THERE.

Class Advancement:

Advancement may occur at any time, but on average students are expected to remain in a level for a minimum of one year. Your child may not be promoted every year. Our primary concern is that a student be placed in a level that is appropriate to his or her skill level and physical strength. If the child is promoted too soon, then he or she will miss some very valuable training.

These children also struggle in the next level, which is unnecessary and could result in injury. A student who carefully develops his or her technique early in the curriculum will find advancement in later years to be smoother and more rewarding.
